Our house is surrounded by 11 acres of kudzu and woods. In the 4 years since we bought it, we’ve only seen one snake on our property. I thought all this time that it was because Maggie, our German Shepherd, was killing every single snake that attempted to slither near our homestead, with her bare teeth, to keep them from coming near our family… Turns out, that’s simply not the case! Maggie was intrigued, but she certainly isn’t the snake wrangler that we (I) thought she was! ;)
